Kevin J. Holland

Born in Lancashire, England, he is a qualified secondary Music teacher, examiner and an active musician. An early Music enthusiast, he studied the harpsichord with Gary Cooper at the Royal Northern College of Music, obtaining a Postgraduate Performance Diploma. He also plays the Piano, Organ and Flute. Along with his teaching commitments he is an avid composer and arranger.

His publications include five trios for recorders, an arrangement of Georg Muffat’s fifth Keyboard Partita for Clarinet Quartet and in 2014 his piece ‘Fughetta’ was selected to be included in a ‘Contemporary Exercise Book’ for harpsichord sponsored by ‘Harpsichord xxi’ and the ‘Estonian Harpsichord Society’.

A number of his compositions have been performed in the ‘Vox Novus’ Fifteen-Minutes-of-Fame Concert series.
